Senate Standing committee urges govt. to improve PTV

Islamabad: Senate’s Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting has urged the government to take concrete steps to ensure improvement in Pakistan Television Corporation. The committee’s meeting was held in the working of Islamabad on Tuesday with Chairman Kamil Ali Agha in the chair. The committee expressed dissatisfaction over the briefing about PTV and termed it incomplete. Member committee Farhat Ullah Babar said it is violation of the directive of the Prime Minister of as well as court’s orders.
