SESRIC to organize 2nd Training Course on OIC Diplomacy from Monday

Istanbul, The Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) is organizing the Second Training Course on OIC Diplomacy for Junior Diplomats from the Member States on 2629 November 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The fourday training aims to enhance the capacities and skills of junior diplomats. Moreover, it will raise their awareness and understanding about the role of OIC in the international arena, the goals and objectives for which the Organization have been established, so that they can participate more effectively in its efforts to overcome the challenges that the Muslim world is facing.

Furthermore, the training will promote the role and accomplishments of the OIC and the useful work achieved by its organs in addressing political, economic, social, and security challenges that the Muslim world and the international community is facing.

The first phase of this Program was launched in November 2017 and involved 35 young diplomats from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of OIC, as well as diplomats from the embassies of OIC member states in Ankara.

This Program is part of SESRIC's continuous efforts to develop and promote a strong relationship among the diplomacy stakeholders, particularly the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of OIC Countries.
