Shah Latif Town police claim to nab 41 criminals

KARACHI: Shah Latif Town police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested 41 criminals and recovered arms, looted goods and drugs from their possession. According to a police report, SHO Shah Latif Town Inspector Ali Hassan Shaikh and Investigation Incharge Arshad Awan heading a policy party conducted different raids in Abdullah Goth, Chowkundi Qabristan area, Razzaqabad, Yousuf Arfani Goth, Kohat Colony and other areas of the metropolis.

In these raids, they arrested nine accused belonging to two gangs of dacoits and street criminals. Those arrested were identified as Imamuddin, Amirzeb, Asad, Akhtar Ali, Ghulam, Javed, Rahim Bux, Arbab and Akhtar.

The police also recovered eight pistols, 60 cartridges and other looted goods from their possession. Separately, the police team arrested two proclaimed offenders Saleem and Rahim who were wanted to police in different crimes case. They also nabbed 22 absconders, besides apprehending seven drug peddlers and recovering some rods of hashish and heroin packets from their possession.
