SHCBA demands withdrawal of deadline

Karachi: Sindh High Court Bar Association SHCBA in a statement released on Thursday criticized not suspending court work due to boycott on the call of Pakistan Bar Council.

SHCBA’s general body meeting was held to criticize the decision of judicial policy making committee. The meeting was attended by the SHCBA’s president Mustafa Lakhani and other members.

The meeting criticized decision of Judicial Policy Making Committee whereby lower Judiciary has been directed to dispose of all old pending cases by 31th December 2012.

They demanded withdrawal of the deadline for disposing of the old matters in lower courts.
