Sindh Excise Police seize 299kg hashish

Karachi: A team of Sindh Excise Police, District Ghotki, led by Inspector Zulfiqar Ali Shaikh, seized 299kg hashish from a truck late last night and arrested two smugglers.

During the routine search at Kumo Shaheed check post at Sindh-Punjab border the excise police stopped a truck number TKC702 coming from Punjab and found the hashish hidden in secret cavities.

Accused M. Ramazan, resident of Lasbella and Fazal Mahboob of Karak were arrested. A case has been lodged and further investigation is underway.
