Karachi: The killing spree continued unabated in the city on Tuesday claiming lives of six more people and injuring six others in separate incidents of firing.
According to a police official at SP North Nazimabad office, a 35yearold Abbas, son of Ghulam Mohammad, was gunned down in Buffer zone Sector 16A. He was a drug dealer. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital ASH for an autopsy.
In another incident, rescue sources said that unidentified men opened fire near Mauripur truck stop, killing 40yearold Mohammad Yousuf son of Ghulam Hassan. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for a postmortem.
A 16yearold boy, Abdullah, son of Zafar, was killed when unidentified men opened fire on him in Gulbahar area. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy.
Unidentified men opened fire near a roundabout in Landhi, killing Bakht Khan, son of Badshah. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.
One person was killed while another sustained bullet injuries when unidentified men opened fire near New Sabzi Mandi along Super Highway. The deceased was identified as 18yearold Asif and injured was 30yearold Sabiq. They were shifted to JPMC.
Moreover, one person was killed after unidentified opened fire and pelted stones on a car in Sohrab Goth. According to police, 55yearold Ismail was gunned down due to firing on his car while his partner, Nisar, suffered injuries after being hit from stones. They were shifted to ASH for an autopsy and treatment respectively.
A police official at Sohrab Goth Police Station told PPI that the incident occurred after unidentified men, going towards Wadi-e-Hussain Graveyard, opened fire near Sohrab Goth.
A 25yearold man was shot and injured during a dacoity bid in Chakra Goth area of Korangi. The injured was identified as Shayan son of Idrees. He was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JPMC for treatment.
Unidentified men opened fire in Model colony area of Malir, injuring 30yearold Majeeda, daughter of Allah Ditta. She was shifted to JPMC for treatment.
Separately, a woman, Tasleem, 35, daughter of Shafiq, sustained bullet wounds near a petrol pump in Nazimabad. The injured, resident of Golimar, was shifted to ASH for treatment.
A30yearold man, Raju, sustained bullet wounds near Mauripur Police Station. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
