Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pukhtunkhwa has said that solid foundation has been laid for lessening energy crisis in the province and stability of its economy. He said that implementation on it will bring development and prosperity in producing areas and will open new avenues of development.
He was talking to senior provincial Minister Rahim Dad Khan. Matters pertaining to his departments P & D and Energy and Power and others of mutual interests remained under discussion.
The Minister apprised the CM on progress on provincial action plan for hydropower generation. The CM said that economic development of the province and prosperity of its people were linked to hydropower production resources. He said that the Provincial Action Plan would help lessen energy crisis and will bring improvement in revenues of the province and development revolution in concerned districts.
He said that considerable resources would be spent on provision of modern facilities in education, health and communication sectors in production areas. He said that continuity and implementation on Action Plan was deemed essential for benefiting from its fruits.
Meanwhile talking to a delegation of Koki Khel tribe at CM House on Monday chief minister said no injustice would be done to any stakeholder in matter of boundary demarcation of Regi Lalma Township and it will be resolved with mutual understanding.
The chief minister said that a commission under Chief Secretary was working on the matter and hope that the matter will resolve with concord.
The delegation offered prayers for Shaheed Bashir Ahmad Bilour and paid glowing tributes to his services for peace. They lauded government policies on terrorism and other challenges, development and construction of the province and protection and attainment of provincial rights. The CM lauded services and sacrifices of Koki Khel Tribe.
