Special meeting held on security during coming elections

QUETTA: A special meeting was held at FC Headquarters under the Chairmanship of Inspector General Major General Obedullah Khan on security arrangements during coming elections here Sunday.

A detailed briefing was also conducted on the occasion about security measures during elections.

Additional Secretary Home, Commandant Balochistan constabulary, Divisional Superintendent railways, Additional Inspector General Police (Finance) DIG National Highway Police and Regional Police Officer Sibi attended.

Meeting reviewed overall law and order situation in Balochistan.

Welcoming participants IG FC urged all the institutions to extend every possible cooperation and exchange of information. Unless they would not cooperate with each other improving situation is not possible.

Metering also held detailed review of security measures and decided to take special arrangements to improve the situation to every possible level.

IG expressed commitment that FC would provide suitable atmosphere for holding transparent elections with the cooperation of other institutions so that able and honest leadership is elected and write new chapter for peace and progress in the province.
