Sports: Cricket: Pakistan CC advances into KCCA Premier League semis

Karachi: Six-time defending champions Pakistan Cricket Club cruised into the semifinals of 7th NBPKCCA Premier Cricket League after beating Tapal Cricket Club by 49 runs in here Wednesday at TMC Ground.

Pakistan CC batted first and put on board 2368 in 40 overs. Akbarur Rehman batted well for the side with his 81runknock.

Tapal CC in response scored only 1878 using the allotted quota of 40 overs. Anop Ravi top scored for the side with his 68run knock. Junaid Ilyas captured a three wicket haul for the victors in the match.
