Sports: Cricket: PCB appoints Haroon Rashid as Director Game Development

Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has promoted former Test cricketer Haroon Rashid as Director Game Development.

Previously Haroon was serving as Head Youth Development at NCA. In its previous meeting the Management Committee (MC) had decided to promote Haroon Rashid as Director Game Development against the vacant post.

A couple of week back, former Pakistan skipper Aamir Sohail had been appointed as Director Game Development and chief selector by PCB Board of Governors.

However, the government sacked Zaka Ashraf and also dissolved the board and instated Management Committee – headed by Najam Sethi after which several of the decisions taken by the previous setup were revoked.
