Peshawar: The Chairman Chief Minister Complaint and Redressal Cell, Dilroze Khan visited the office of the Chief Executive KTH/KMC/KCD upon receiving complaint that cooling system of the Khyber Teaching Hospital is not working to the entire satisfaction.
He was briefed by the Chief Executive regarding illegal connections numbering more than 70 from KTH Cantt feeder starting from Defence Colony till KTH, resulting in frequent voltage drop, which is hampering the cooling system.
He was also informed that a letter regarding this issue has already been issued to the Superintendent Engineer PESCO Peshawar Cantt on 1572013 asking to remove all illegal connections. However, still the voltage problem exists.
It is also pertinent to mention that KTH cooling system was installed at the time of establishment of the hospital in 1976 and minor faults occurring from time to time are being taken care off on daily basis.
The complaint cell in charge issued immediate instructions to the SE PESCO to comply and remove illegal connections and solve the voltage problems and also directed the administration of the hospital to take up necessary steps at their end also.
