Students protest against hooliganism in exam halls

Karachi: Activists of ‘Students Action Committee’ of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology FUUAST Abdul Haq Campus forcibly disrupted the semester papers of different departments in order to record protest against the verdict against Prime Minister of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf in rental power plants corruption case.

However, some activists also misbehaved with the faculty members and students after forcibly entering in exam halls, here on Wednesday.

Later, over two dozen students reached Karachi Press Club along with examination copies and staged a protest demonstration against the hooliganism at campus. They also solved their papers outside the KPC to record their protest.

The protesters led by Kamil Ahmed, Faisal Awan, Muhammad Arshad, Ubir Fatima, Farwa Haider, Yawar Abbas, Muhammad Sultan, Iqbal Ahmed, Hassan Abbas, Kamran, Amjad, Faheem Kaneez Fatima, Sumira and others demanded to government and Vice Chancellor to stop the harassment of students by student wings of political parties and ensure peace campus at all costs.
