SU selects 16 scholars for foreign education

Hyderabad: The higher training scholarship committee (HTSC) of Sindh University Jamshoro has recommended the names of 16 scholars for getting higher education in abroad under different programs of Higher Education Commission (HEC).

The meeting of HTSC was held at Vice Chancellor’s office under the chair of Dr. Nazir A. Mughal, which discussed the available slots of scholarships, and also deviated cases who had received the provisional letters but could not go abroad to seek their education.

The meeting unanimously decided to issue final award letters to all the candidates for their placement who were eligible under PC-I and in spite of receiving the letters if some scholars failed to avail within the period of 4 months, their award letters shall stand cancelled automatically.

According to the decision of the committee, Irfan Ahmed Shaikh, Ameer Ali Bughio, Hyder Ali Memon, Rashid Ali Khuhro, Syed Faisal Hyder Shah, Pervaiz Ali Mahesar, Imran Ali Noonari, Abdul Rahim Nizamani and Pasand Ali (all lecturers) would be given final award letters for availing the scholarships as they are eligible under PC-I and fulfilling the Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria. However final approval in this regard would be granted by the university syndicate.
