Suspicious livestock disease in lower Sindh

Pangrio, Sindh: Dozens of cattle heads have died while hundred were affected from a suspicious disease outbreak in Pangrio and adjoining areas.

According to details, over 50 animals died and hundreds other were affected from a suspicious diseased spread in Pangrio and adjoining villages of Mir Muhammad Kaloi, Ali Bux Kaloi and Mir jo Kot. Livestock Department of Sindh has become silence spectator over the issue.

The owners of dead animals said hundred of their buffalos, cows and goats are affected from disease and they are clueless about the nature of disease which had deprived people from precious livestock. They said livestock department is not taking any preventive step in this regard.

They said due to non-cooperative attitude of the department and government authorities; they are compelled to treat their animals through home remedies. They feared more losses if the negligence of authorities concerned remained continued.
