Talib Johri warns antigrowth drive

KARACHI: Noted religious scholar Allama Talib Johari has said that they would be compelled to run a movement against government if failed to take action against terrorists involved in Quetta bomb blast.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi Press Club here on Tuesday, he said leaders of different political and religious parties have supported the people of Hazara community of Quetta. He said government should resign for its failure to maintain law and order in country.

Jamaat-e-Islami JI leader Muhammad Hussain Mehanti, MQM leaders Dr Farooq Sattar, Raza Haroon and Khuwaja Izharul Hassan, Justice retd Wajihuddin Ahmed Siddiqui also spoke.

They questioned how it was possible that terrorists moved huge explosive material with impunity in Quetta. They said it was failure of law enforcement agencies.

They demanded of the government to control growing lawlessness in Quetta and Karachi to provide citizens safety of life and property.
