Terrorists are enemies of development and bright future of Pukhtuns, CM

Peshawar: Chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti has said that terrorists destroying schools were enemy to development and brighter future of Pakhtuns.

He said that only educated nations could touch the apex of development. He said that economic and business development without roads was not possible.

He said that development and welfare of people of the province was my prior responsibility and he didn’t believe in personal criticism.

He was addressing a gathering in Sokai kalay, union council Ghala dher PK24 constituency Mardan. MPA Haji Ahmad Khan Bahader, and ANP District General secretary Imran Mandori also addressed the gathering. ANP Provincial Vice President Eng. Abbas, Haji Ata Ullah Khan, Javed Yousuf Zai, Haji Shah Nawaz Khan, other office bearers and workers were also present on the occasion. Senior office bearers and workers from other parties including Peoples Party announced association to ANP on the occasion. The CM offered them party red caps and termed their decision a timely and important decision.

The CM said that terrorists burning our schools were enemy to our development and brighter future, added, we were committed to foil their evil designs.

He said that importance of promotion of education and roads was undoubted for long-lasting development and prosperity and that was the reason why both these sectors were given prior importance in Mardan. He said that education of girls was of great importance in current situation because an educated mother was the guarantee of developed society.

He said that Sokai was centre of Khudai Khidmatgar, Ghala Dher was the biggest union council on area basis, but no attention was paid to the area earlier to this government.

He said that though he has no relation of voter member with this constituency but thoughts of Bacha Khan, land of Mardan, history and sacrifices of Red Flag and leadership of Asfandyar Wali were our common ethos which was the most durable and strong relation. On development of the area, the CM said that repair and reconstruction of canal roads in Ghala Union Council costing Rs. 8 million and construction of funeral place in Kharo Kalay have been completed.

He said that apart from MPA fund Rs.21.5 Million have been spent on other small schemes. The CM said that road and education play a vital role in development of any area and development without it can’t be imagined.

He said that construction of bridges and roads costing Rs.180 million in the constituency has been completed. He said that in connection with education Rs.25 million has been spent on construction and upgradation of Primary, middle and high school.

Approving new development schemes the CM said that he did not believe in false promises, politics of lie was not his nature , added that was why such promises can be made that can realize.

He announced construction of examination hall in Ghala Dher High school costing Rs.7 million and reconstruction of terrorism affected school in Khat Kalay.

He said that enemy to education want to push the Pakhtuns into darkness of ignorance but we are committed for extending light of knowledge and foiling their evil design.

He directed for commencement of work on road in Sogai village that will cost Rs.30 million. He approved another funeral place in the area and upgradation of Ghala Dher Maktab school as primary school.

That will jointly cost Rs.6.2 million while the upgradation of girls high school will cost Rs.18 million. Chairman Sabaon Tanzeem Hidayat ullah Khan and Senior office bearer and worker of different party announced association to ANP on the occasion.

Earlier the Chief Minster formally inaugurated the construction work on road from Sokai pull to Motorway and upgradation of govt. girls high school to higher secondary level that will cost Rs. 29 million and Rs.18 million respectively.
