Three die in Karachi firing, mishaps

Karachi: Three persons were died in different incident of firing and road mishaps in different areas of the city on Thursday. 33-years-old Hajji Muhammad Khan S/o Jafar Khan was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Faqeera Goth area of Sohrab Goth Police Station. The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for postmortem.

Police said victim was sitting at his mobile shop ‘Ibrahim Communication’ when armed men reached the scene and open firing on him. He died before he could be taken to hospital. The victim was also said to be the worker of Awami National Party (ANP).

Police said victim received four bullets on his upper torso, adding he might be killed over personal enmity. Separately, 25-years old Saira d/o Abdul Khaliq died in a road mishap when she was crossing road near Chamra Chowrangi, Korangi area in the precinct of Korangi Industrial Area Police Station.

The rescue workers shifted the body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities. Similarly, 45-years=old Naeem S/o Ameer, resident of Metroville was killed in a road accident. He was crossing road near Paracha Hotel Sher Shah in the jurisdiction of SITE B Police Station, when a vehicle hit him. The body was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi of autopsy.

KARACHI: Three people died in different incidents in the city on Wednesday. A woman, Aneesa
