Three killed in Karachi mishaps

Karachi: Three persons were killed in different mishaps in various areas of the metropolis on Thursday.

55 years old Ashiq Ali S/o Hassan Ali was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Thanvi Masjid Jacob Lines, Jamshed Town in the jurisdiction of Brigade Police Station. The body was moved to Civil Hospital Karachi CHK for autopsy. The deceased was employee of a private bank. Police said it might be a sectarian killing.

A 26 years old man, whose identity could not be ascertained, was injured in road mishap near Al-Asif Square. However, he succumbed to his injuries at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital during treatment. The victim was crossing the road when a speedy vehicle hit him in the remit of Sohrab Goth Police Station.

Separately, 30 year old Latif died due to natural causes outside his home at Abdullah Haroon Road, Kharadar area in the remit of Baghdadi Police Station. The body was shifted CHK for postmortem, where his heir took it without any medico legal formalities.

Two persons were wounded in firing of unidentified armed men inside their house near Ferozabad Police Station. The both were rushed to Aga Khan Hospital for treatment. However, their identity could not be ascertained as yet.

A 55 years old labour namely Maroof Shah fell down from rooftop of bungalow in Gizri area, while working. He received serious injuries and rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.

Similarly, 40 years old Ejaz S/of Younis was wounded in firing of unidentified armed men in Orangi Town No15. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
