Three killed in separate mishaps

KARACHI: Three persons were killed in different mishaps in the city on Tuesday.

An unknown speeding car hit a bike rider Faraz, 22, son of Raheel near City College in Block-A, Site area. As a result, he died on the spot. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a postmortem.

Similarly, an unidentified young man riding a bike was hit to death by a fast moving vehicle in Baldia No. 4 within the limits of Madina Town police station. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medicolegal formalities.

Police said an unidentified vehicle hit the man to death. The identity of the deceased could be ascertained till filing this report.

Separately, Iqbal, 65, son of Saleh Muhammad, was seriously injured when a lift of Iqbal Arcade fell down near Shaheed-e-Millat road. The injured was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
