Three new dengue fever cases reported in City

Karachi: Three more dengue viral fever cases were reported in Karachi on Wednesday, said Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh.

Dr M Shakeel Aamir Mullick Focal Person for Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh said that 412 dengue fever cases were reported in Sindh province this year so far, out of them 401 were reported in Karachi, while 11 in rest of the province.

He said three dengue patients died owing in Karachi since January 2013. He said that eight dengue patients were still admitted to different hospitals of the city and three new cases have been reported in Karachi on 10th July, while five patients were discharged from hospitals after treatment.
