TNFJ condemns attack on Bibi Zainab’s shrine

KARACHI: Deputy Nazim Al Amor TehrikeNifazeFiqhJafaria TNFJ Ammar Yasir Alvi on Monday strongly condemned the attack on Hazrat Bibi Zainab’s AS shrine in Syria and urged the United Nations or Muslim countries to take notice of the shelling on holy site.

He expressed these views while addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club. Provincial President Allama Syed Waqar Hassan Taqvi, General Secretary Gohar, SM Taqi, Allama Feroz Abbas, Syed Badar Ali Tirmizi, Allama Syed Kusar Abbas Naqvi and Allama Jamsheed Naqvi were also present on this occasion. Alvi lamented over the criminal silence of Organization of the Islamic Conference OIC and Arab League on the attack on the shrine of Bibi Zainab AS.

He said shelling on the shrine in Damascus city of Syria is the act of devil and appealed to the Muslim Ummah to raise their voice over the issue. He also urged the government of Pakistan to explain its position over militants groups who went Syria from Pakistan. He demanded passage of condemnation resolution from National Assembly and Senate over the desecration of Bibi Zainab’s shrine.

He demanded of the federal government to raise voice over this issue at government level and use all diplomatic channels jointly with other Muslim countries in order to ensure the safety of holy sites.
