Two killed in Karachi mishaps

KARACHI: Two people were killed in separate mishaps in the city on Friday. According to rescue sources, unidentified men opened fire in Pathan Colony in Banaras, killing 30-year-old woman, Zaryab. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.

Separately, a 25-year-old man, Abdul Haseeb, son of Abdul Hameed, was crushed to death by a speeding truck in Gulbai. The victim was crossing the road when a speeding truck hit him to death on the spot.

The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy. Police have impounded the truck but its driver managed to flee.
