Two killed, two injured in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Two people were killed and two others injured in different acts of violence in the city on Friday.

A man, Bismillah, 50, son of Noor Muhammad, was gunned down by unidentified bike riders near MPR Colony in Qasba Colony within the limits of Pirabad police station. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

Police said the man was killed over a personal enmity.

Similarly, Ghazanfar Ali, 45, son of Wali, was killed in firing by unknown armed men near Nazimabad No 2. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a postmortem.

A man Ashraf was injured in firing by unidentified armed men near Jahangir road. The injured was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment where the condition on injured was stated as critical.

Meanwhile, an unknown man, aged about 30, was injured by unidentified culprits near Bag Halal Hospital in Shoe Market. The injured was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
