Karachi: Two more dengue viral fever cases were detected in Karachi, said Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh on Wednesday.
Focal Person for Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh Dr M Shakeel Aamir Mullick said that 445 dengue fever cases were reported in Sindh province since January 2013, out of them 434 were reported in Karachi, while 11 in rest of province.
He said four dengue patients died owing to the disease in Karachi this year.
Mullick further said that 13 dengue patients were still admitted to different hospitals of the city and two new cases have been reported in the Karachi on July 17.
However, one patient was discharged from hospitals after treatment on Wednesday.
