Two youth kidnapped for ransom

Naudero, Sindh: Two young men Muhahid Sonagi and Salim Solangi were kidnapped from the limits of Ketty Mumtaz police station five days ago and the abductors demanded Rs2 million ransom for their release, claimed Mir Muhammad Solangi, the father of abducted Mujahid Solangi, during a protest demonstration held here Friday.

Mir Solangi further said that his son’s wife Saiqa had gone to her in-laws at village Agani after having a quarrel with husband and later she called her husband to the village.

Mujahid left home for village Agani along with his cousin Salim Solangi from where both of them were kidnapped. He said he has received a telephone call from the cellular phone of Mujahid demanding two million rupees as ransom for their release. He demanded release of the kidnapped men.

The demo was participated by Sikander Solangi, Asghar Solangi and others.

SHO Miran Khan Durrani when contacted told PPI that he had received the information and arrested uncle of Saiqa Solangi named Jabbar Solangi along with two other persons and further probe is under way.
