US Ambassador visits mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam

Karachi: Pakistan and the United States are waging a joint war against the menace of terrorism to ensure global peace, said US Ambassador in Pakistan Richard Olson who visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam in Karachi on Monday morning.

He laid floral wreath at the mausoleum and paid great homage to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for his struggle to achieve a separate homeland for the Muslims of subcontinent.

Later‚ talking to newsmen‚ he said efforts are underway to promote Pak-US ties particularly in education‚ culture and energy sectors. Olson said his country would extend all possible cooperation for the development of these sectors in Pakistan.
