QUETTA: Vice Chancellor of Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University Miss Rukhsana Jabeen said that faculty training and capacity building of the teachers is imperative in this modern age and the teachers should enhance their potential to meet the challenges of the present requirements.

She was addressing as a chief guest to the closing ceremony of Academic Planning and Management at the premises of the Higher Education Commission regional office here Wednesday.

She further said that the prime objective of the training was not to increase the vocabulary and knowledge rather to refine and polish the personality of each trainee and to bring out that ability in ourselves which lies dormant. She stressed that without education we cannot establish a society based on ethics, morality and civilized norms.

Director Higher Education Commission Habibullah Nasar was also present at the occasion and said that HEC has conducted such trainings in the past and it will continue the efforts to elevate the educational standard of the teachers of this province.

He further said that we conduct debate contest, painting contest and such other motivating exhibition in a very limited resources and we know our shortcomings but we are determine that we will keep our struggle and each time we will achieve extra mile in the path towards success and perfection.

Additional Secretary Education Abdul Rauf said we are finding new way and techniques to impart quality education and such trainings are imperative to achieve our goals.
