Wasan warns anti-corruption officials of action

Karachi: Sindh Minister for Anti-Corruption, Mines & Mineral Development, Manzoor Hussain Wasan warned the officials of his anti-corruption department of action if they were found involved in slackness and corruption.

“I am well aware of the situation prevailing in the department and will not forgive any officer having bad reputation,” he said presiding over a meeting of anti-corruption department on Tuesday.

Wasan sought detailed reports from the officers about their performance including the cases and progress on such matters.

Minister said he will monitor the performance of officers personally and will take action in case of any complaint.

Earlier, Director Anti-Corruption Establishment Ghulam Hussain Memon, Director Inquiries-I Abdul Sattar Jatoi and Director Inquiries-II Muhammad Ali Shah briefed the minister.
