Weather: Thunderstorm, rain expected

Islamabad: Mainly very hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. However‚ dust thunderstorm and rain are expected at isolated places of Islamabad‚ northeastern Punjab‚ Hazara division and Kashmir.

The highest temperature of 48 degree centigrade was recorded in Nokundi‚ 46 in Dalbandin; 45 in Bahawalnagar‚ and 44 in Noorpur Thal‚ Bannu and Bhakkar.

The maximum temperatures of some major cities were: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad 39 degree centigrade‚ Lahore 38‚ Karachi 36‚ Peshawar 41‚ Quetta 40‚ Gilgit 43 and Murree 25 degree centigrade.
