KARACHI: Sindh Madressatul Islam University’s girls and boys model schools organized an Eid Milad-un- Nabi (PBUH), respectively, on Friday at the Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Auditorium, which was largely attended by principals, faculty members and students of both the schools.
Students recited verses from Holy Quraan, Hamd and Naat and delivered speeches on life and message of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
The students in their speeches said that in the period of illiteracy and backwardness in the Arab world our Holy Prophet (PBUH) founded an Islamic society with the ideology based on human equality, brotherhood and peaceful coexistence.
Citing an example from the Last Sermon of Our Holy Prophet (PBUH), the students said that in it the equal rights have been given to women and differences on caste, creed, colour and ethnicity have also been called against the brotherhood and humanity.
The students from junior to intermediate level participated in the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) including Quratul Ain, Aliza, Rubab, Romasa, Anita, Saba, Sidra Batool, Aisha, Ramsha, Noorul Ain, Hafiz Mohammad Hayat Solangi, Hafiz Rizwan and others.
