Zardari condemns Quetta bomb blast

Karachi: President Asif Ali Zardari strongly has condemned bomb blast at Bacha Khan Chowk, Quetta resulting in loss of precious lives and leaving many injured on Thursday.

Expressing sympathies with the bereaved families, the President reiterated the firms resolve of the present Government to continue fighting militancy till its logical end and said that such coward acts
by a handful of militants cannot deter government’s commitment to curb militancy and terrorism in the country.

The President while expressing profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives prayed to Allah, the Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss with equanimity.

The President directed the concerned authorities to submit report of the unfortunate incident. He also directed the provincial government and all concerned to provide best medical treatment to those who sustained injuries in the incident, says a release here Thursday.
