Ten people were killed in a horrific house fire that engulfed a residence in the Bhati Gate area of Lahore late night.
According to Rescue 1122, the incident occurred due to a short circuit.
Expressing deep sorrow and grief over the death, the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commiserated with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed souls.
Meanwhile, Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has sought a report from Commissioner Lahore Division about the tragic incident and ordered a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
