10-year audit of Sindh industries dept ordered

Karachi: Provincial Minister for Information and Industries and Commerce Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the Industries Department is being made free from corruption and for this purpose orders have been issued to conduct audit of the department for the last ten years.

This he said while talking to a delegation of the industrialists at his office. He told that two billion rupees had been allocated to reopen closed and sick industrial units that year. Basic facilities such as security, roads, water and electricity were being provided in all districts of Sindh in order to restore the industries.

He added, ‘Sindh Government will provide all facilities to the industrialists and investors so that they may spread network of industries all over Sindh.’ He urged upon the industrialists to establish more and more industries in other districts as well and the government would fully cooperate with them in the regard.

Provincial Minister for commerce and industries assured that the Sindh government would establish more industrial zones in the province and would provide land to the industrialists on cheap rate.
