20 million local and international calls made in Makkah

The Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission has reported that over 20 million calls were made in Makkah the past week, with a 99% success rate of calls going through.

In addition, over 1,476 terabytes of data have been downloaded, with a download and upload speeds of 26 and 10 Mbps respectfully.

The average daily data consumption for pilgrims in Makkah has reached 308 MB, exceeding the average daily per capita data consumption globally (150 MB).
