27 teachers & other officials suspended for absent from duty

SIALKOT: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sialkot Iftikhar Ali Sahu raided at the different government schools and basic health units in Sialkot and Pasrur tehsils and suspended from service as many as 27 teachers and other officials of the education and health departments for remaining absent from their duty.

DCO suspended teachers Sajid Hameed, Shamsher Khan Govt. Elementary School Garhi-Pasrur, teacher Rashida Parveen Govt. Girls Elementary School Harpal, teachers Yasmeen Akhtar , Aman Ullah of Govt. Girls Model School Gangaal, teachers Musarrat Bano, Ghulam Zohra, Shamim Akhtar, Basharat Sultana, Saba Ikram, Gul Fatima, junior clerk Arshad Ali and Naib Qasid Akbar Ali of the Govt. Girls High School Merjakey-Pasrur, teachers Nargis Seerat, Naheed Akhtar, Naib Qasid Jamil Iqbal of Govt. Girls Community Model Primary School Merajkey, teachers Khalid Mehmood Mughal, Bashir Ahmed Qasmi of the Govt. Boys High School Merjakey, teacher Majeeda Khanum of the Govt. Girls Primary School Bhalor Brahmanaa, Gardener Tassawar Ameen of the Govt. Girls Primary School Kingra-Pasrur, midwife Ghulam Batool, computer operator Nadeem Akhtar, vaccinator Attiq ur Rehman Butt of the Basic Health Unit Merajkey-Pasrur, lady health worker Gulnaz Shehzadi, midwife Azra Parveen, naib Qasid Liaqat Ali and Health Nutrition Supervisor Shazia Jehan of the Basic Health Unit Pindi Bhagu-Sialkot.

They were found absent from their duty without any intimation. DCO issued their immediate suspension orders, ordering a strict departmental probe against them.
