Alfalah police arrest 31 criminals, recover weapons

KARACHI: Alfalah police in different raids arrested 31 accused, including a gang of street criminals, involved in many crimes near Malir River and recovered arms from their possession.

On the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police SSP District East Imran Shaukat, Station House Officer SHO Alfalah Sarfraz Gondal during patrolling on secret information arrested two masterminds of street criminals group Muhammad Hanif and Abdul Raheem near Malir River.

The police also recovered two TT pistols, two magazines, 10 cartridges and looted valuables from their possession. The accused were wanted to police in several robberies’ cases. The same police in separate raids arrested 10 criminals of different street criminals groups Siraj, Aarfin, Javaid Iqbal, Danish, Nazir, Zahid, Yasir, Shahab, Adnan and Ghulam Shabbir and recovered nine 30bore pistols, one 32bore pistol, nine magazines, 40 cartridges, snatched mobiles and half kilograms of hashish from their possession.

The police have also arrested 19 offenders involved in different crimes.
