Altaf deplores loss of human lives in bomb blast

Karachi: Muttahida Quami Movement chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday strongly condemned the bomb blast near the caravan of the security forces in Budh Birr Peshawar.

In his condolence statement, he expressed profound grief and sorrow for the wounding and killing of several people including three children in the blast. Altaf said that armed terrorists are not only targeting and attacking armed forces, security forces, institutes of different law enforcement agencies, innocent citizens but also victimizing mosques, shrines, tombs and imam bargahs with bombs to promote the tendencies of fundamentalism and extremism in Pakistani society.

The purpose of this open terrorism, barbarism and atrocity is to destabilize Pakistan, which is a very deplorable act.

Hussain said that bomb blast by the terrorists near the security forces in Budh Birr is an attack on the sovereignty of the country and is an act of open terrorism.

Hussain prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls into eternal peace and for the complete and quick recovery of the injured peoples.

Altaf demanded of President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif and federal interior minister Chaudry Nisar Ali Khan to take strict notice of the bomb blast near security forces in Budh Birr and bring the perpetrators to the book and give them an exemplary punishment.
