Asian Karate do Federation honor Mohammad Jahangir of Pakistan (The Balochistan Times (Pakistan))

President Pakistan Karate Federation Mohammad Jahangir Saturday elected as member executive of Asian Karate do Federation in a elective congress meeting held at Yokohama, Japan. The elective congress of Asian Karate do Federation was held at Yokohama Japan.

The main agenda of the congress was to elect the President, General Secretary and eight executive committee members for the next tenure.

It is for the first time in the history of Asian Karate do Federation that a person from Pakistan elected as member of the executive committee. Mohammad Jahangir, who is also President Pakistan Karate Federation while talking to reporter on phone, thanked the members of the full house of Asian Karate do Federation for reposing confidence in him.

We are working with spirit to promote Karate in Pakistan in particular and the rest of the countries affiliated with World Karate Federation in generation, Jahangir added.

He termed his election as recognition on the efforts being put in by Pakistan Karate Federation for the promotion of Karate in across the country. He assured that he would continue his hard work alongside with his team.

He said the performance of the Pakistani players in Asian level was also got appreciation. Jahangir said that it is actually an honor for all those associated with the game either they are officials, players and fans in Pakistan.

Jahangir also lauded the support extended to them by the whole Olympic family led by its President Lt. Gen. Arif Hasan and officials of the Pakistan Sports Board which resulted in winning a key portfolio in Asia.

He disclosed that Chang, Kuang Huei (Chinese Taipei) was elected as President and Mr. Shigeo Kurihara (Japan) as General Secretary respectively.

The members of the Executive Committee comprising Mr. Alamjon Mullaev (Uzbekistan),Yu Kang Chau Kenny (Hong Kong), Che, Kuong Im (Macau), Mohammad Ali (Malaysia), Vu Son Ha (Vietnam), Mouin Abdel Majeid (Jordan), Daeej Jassem Mohd Rasool Raisi (UAE).
