Baba Haider Zaman warns to launch civil disobedience movement if demands not meet

Islamabad: Chairman Hazara Province Movement Baba Haider Zaman has threatened to launch civil disobedience movement against the government if their demand of proposed Hazara province not fulfilled.

He stated this while addressing a press conference at National Press Club NPC on Monday. ‘We were ready to give any sacrifice for the fulfilment of our demands of making Hazara as a province” he added.

Answering a question, he said that government had formed parliamentary commission for Bahawalpur and South Punjab proposed provinces only to gain political numbers ahead of forthcoming general elections.

“If we were pushed to the wall we would definitely ban the entry of political parties in Hazara’ he reiterated. He said that people of Hazara first raised their voice for Hazara province and after that people of Bahawalpur and South Punjab demanded the provinces. “I am common man and not belong to elite class and continue straggle for the rights of common people” he concluded.
