QUETTA: All arrangement shave been made for ensuring peace and order during Muharramul Haram. People should extend cooperation for law and order and progress and prosperity of the province.
This was stated by Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch at a briefing to Newsmen after chairing a meeting on law and order during Muharramul Haram at CM Secretariat here Sunday afternoon.
Provincial Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Provincial Minister Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani and Spokesman to Chief Minister Jan Muhammad Buledi were also present.
Chief Minister said various steps are being taken for ensuring peace during Muharramul Haraam for several days. Different meetings were also held under the chairmanship of Home Minister. We tried to provide all possible security to Muharram process and other majalis.
Chief Minister said government was taken measures for peace with extreme responsibility. It is also effort of Ulema and people to play their role in this connection.
We are doing our best people from Shia community should discharge their religious rituals according to their faith. He said Balochistan needs peace and coalition government was doing its best. People should also play their role.
He said Youm e Ashura will be falling on coming Friday. A plan has been prepared for offering Juma prayers at all the mosques along the procession route with Sunni and Shia Ulema. Juma prayers will be offered at all mosques.
