QUETTA: Decisions of Balochistan are taken in the province and not in Islamabad. We welcome Pashtoon Governor because it has met long standing demand of Pashtoons.

This was stated by provincial Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while speaking to newsmen after oath taking of Muhammad Khan Achakzai as Balochistan governor here Thursday afternoon.

He said it would be our effort to resolve provincial issues jointly because no party alone can resolve any problem. All have to work jointly for the progress of the province.

He said it was long standing demand that a Pashtoon should be appointed Balochistan Governor. A personality from Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party has taken oath as Governor today. We have supported PMAP stand that a Pashtoon should be provincial governor.

Chief Minister said provincial cabinet would be announced prior to announcement of provincial budget 201314.

He dispelled the impression that decisions are taken in Islamabad. He said only consultation is held there and decisions are taken here.

Answering a question he said formation of cabinet is left after oath taking of provincial governor. He aid would establish contacts with all political parties and it would be our effort that friends away from us should also be contacted and take part for development of the province.
