CM suspends DC, DPO Ziarat

QUETTA: In the light of preliminary inquiry report on attack on Ziarat Residency Balochistan Chief Minister has suspended Deputy Commissioner and DPO Ziarat and said that security to historic and national assets is responsibility of us all and no lapse or leniency would be tolerated in this regard.

Inspector General Balochistan Police Mushtaq Ahmed Sukhera presented a report at a high level meeting here Wednesday about Residency named after the name of father of the nation. After this report Chief Minister ordered suspension of concerned Deputy Commissioner and DPO.

It may be added here that SHO, DSP, and guard on duty have already been placed under suspension.

Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment ensuring security to historic and national assets and said that no lapse or leniency would be tolerated in t his regard. Residency caretaker and four other officials have also been arrested earlier.
