COAS inaugurate IT based resource management system

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Gujranwala and Lahore on Friday. At Gujranwala, COAS inaugurated the IT based Resource Management System that will greatly enhance administrative efficiency in the Army.

He also visited a unit to witness the user end functioning of the system.

Later, COAS visited an artillery regiment at Lahore to witness the demonstration of Automated Fire Order System being developed indigenously.

At both locations, COAS lauded the efforts of officers and men handling Pak Army’s automation projects, especially their achievements in finding indigenous solutions to the IT challenges.
