Crime: 10 accused apprehended, 190 wine bottles recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Wednesday apprehended 10 culprits, recovered 190 bottles of wine, stolen car, 44 beer cane, chars, 30 bore pistol, around 2 kg heroin and various stolen items from their possession.

According to details, Capital police during a crackdown operation against criminal arrested 10 accused involved in various unlawful activities in the capital.

Tarnol police station Muhammad Idress arrested accused Ghulam Shabir and recovered 1.20 kg chars. Police station of Shalimar, Sub inspector Rashid Ahmed along with team ridded on Javeed house sector F11/2 and arrested accused Mumtaz Zar Khan and during search around 70 bottles of wine and 44 beercans were also recovered from his possession.

Sub Inspectors of Aabpara Police Station, Tahir Khan and Shakeel Ahmed arrested accused Waqas and Khurram and recovered 60 bottles of wine. Anti car lifting cell Sun inspector Muhammad Afzal along with team on tip of recovered a care number KZ653 model 2007 worth one million. While accused during the operation started firing on police party but one accused namely Fazalehaq was napped by the police.

During search, around one kg chars was also recovered. Women police station ASI, Muhammad Asif arrested accused Muhammad Niaz and recovered fine bottle of wine. Police station of Sabzi Mandi sub inspector Muhammad Shafiq arrested Syed Abid Hussain and recovered 160gm chars.

Police station of Kohsar ASI Khuran Shahzad during search operation arrested accused Majeed Masih and recovered 49 bottle of wine. CIA police arrested accused Amjid Khan and recovered 30 bore pistol.

Banni Gala police arrested accused Amir Mustafa and recovered 30 gm chars. Cases have been registered against the accused in their respective areas.
