Demand to arrest killers of businessman

Karachi: Trade and industry has strongly condemned the target killing of prominent trade leader Muhammad Irfan. In a statement Patron In-Chief Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), S M Muneer, Chairman Mohammad Zubair Chhaya, President All Karachi industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain, Vice Chairmen Najmul Arifeen and Niaz Ahmed while condoling with the family of deceased, former Chairman Karachi Electronics Dealers Association, Muhammad Irfan, said that target killing in the city is continuing unabated and unchecked while terrorists and gangsters are let free to harass and target innocent people particularly the businessmen who refuse to pay extortion.

They said that it’s unfortunate that the law-enforcing agencies (LEAs) and provincial government have miserably failed to control target killing in the city.

While praying for the departed soul, they demanded of the government to immediately arrest the target killers ‘as they are not hidden from the LEAs’.
