DIG Khuzdar denies shifting of DIG office

KHUZDAR: DIG Police Khuzdar Range Faseehuddin has denied report of shifting of DIG Office from Khuzdar to Uthal and said it is mere a rumour and nothing else.

In a special chat with newsmen DIG said that despite limited resources and facilities steps were being taken for security to life and property of people and peace and order in Kalat Division including Khuzdar. Law and order situation is far now.

He said police cannot do without cooperation of the people. He said his doors are open to the people round the clock. He was servant of the masses. He said strict action would be taken against police officials showing lapse. He said if people had complaint against any officer or official they can directly contact with him.

He said budget of police in districts of Khuzdar, Kalat, Awaran, Lasbella of Khuzdar Range is zero. Police is indebted to lakhs of Rupees for petrol and diesel. Three hundred posts are lying vacant. We are facing shortage of strength. Despite this Police would not rest form discharging its duty.
