Diplomatic Germany expresses condolences after earthquake in Balochistan

Islamabad: German Ambassador Dr. Cyrill Nunn has expressed his sadness on the huge loss of life and the suffering caused by the terrible earthquake in the province of Balochistan on Tuesday.

On behalf of the German people and Government, I wish to convey our sincere condolences to the people and the Government of Pakistan and to the families of the many people who have lost their lives or are still missing.

Our thoughts in these hours are with the families and friends of the victims and the many injured. I hope that large numbers of those still missing will be rescued and found safe and well, he said in a statement on Wednesday.
