Diplomatic Pak values its relations with Germany, Naveed Qamar

Islamabad: Pakistan greatly values its relations with Germany based on mutual trust and shared perceptions and both the countries are committed in contributing towards global peace, stability and Socio-Economic Development.

These views were expressed by Minister for Defence Syed Naveed Qamar after meeting with his German counterpart Dr. Thomas de Maiziere. German Defence Minister is on a two- day visit to Pakistan. During his visit important matters related to Defence will be discussed in detail.

Germany has always provided assistance to Pakistan in times of need. The two countries are committed to eradicate the menace of terrorism. Germany greatly acknowledges the contribution made by Pakistan in this regard. Both countries strongly feel that stable Afghanistan in the interest of the region at large.

The meeting also discussed the importance of high-level exchanges which can act as an effective tool in strengthening cooperation and chalking future roadmap between the two friendly nations.
