District: Two died due to scorching heat

Sialkot: Two persons on Monday died of scorching heat in Daska Tehsil. Reportedly a farmer Muhammad Ashraf 45 in village Glotiyaan-Daska and a school teacher Hafiz Abdul Qayyum 42 of village Bambaanwala Daska were busy in their routine working when they were hit by sun stroke and were fainted. They died on the spot.

The doctors at Daska DHQ Civil Hospital told the media persons that both of them suffered from severe sun stroke and died of sizzling heat in such muggy weather.

Sialkot experienced the hottest day of this summer season as the mercury rose to 46 degrees Celsius in Sialkot region. All the city roads, markets, bazaars and business centers gave a deserted look. The people preferably stayed in door to avoid the blazing sun.
