The Economic Coordination Committee has approved additional fund worth 35 million rupees for establishment of Passport Processing Centers at Tehsil level in 30 administrative units across the country.
The approval to this effect was granted at a meeting of the Committee held in Islamabad today with Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar in the chair.
The meeting also approved fixation of wheat procurement targets for Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan for the year 2022-23 along with cash credit limit.
Sindh government has been assigned procurement target of 1.400 million metric tonnes with procurement price of 4000 rupee per 40 kg, Punjab assigned target of 3.500 MMT with 3900 rupees per 40 Kg while Balochistan has been assigned target of 0.100 MMT with price of 3900 rupees per 40 Kg.
